Life After 40: The Family Planning Network and the ACA

Leadership Learning Collaborative

NFPRHA’s Health Care Reform Leadership Learning Collaborative (LLC) is a year-long learning opportunity for select NFPRHA members to receive advanced ACA education and leadership training, pilot application for NCQA Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition and share their learning with the NFPRHA membership.

The learning collaborative model brings together staff teams from a small group of organizations to learn, share, and practice problem solving and strategic thinking with the real-time problems they face. NFPRHA’s LLC includes in-person retreats, webinars, and in-person technical assistance to build knowledge and skills around advanced ACA preparedness topics including: network adequacy, strategic provider alignment, change management, and transformative leadership.

Health care reform experts Health Management Associates, Inc. and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, have been engaged to teach the curriculum and provide technical information, on-site coaching and technical assistance, mentoring, and executive-level skill building.

Participating organizations include:

  • The Family Planning Association of Maine
  • Public Health Solutions (New York, NY)
  • Public Health - Seattle & King County
  • Adagio Health Inc. (Pittsburgh, PA)

Participants will finish the year prepared to meet the requirements for NCQA’s Patient-Centered Specialty Practice Recognition and to share the knowledge and experiences they have acquired with the rest of the NFPRHA membership.
