Travel Assistance

Travel assistance is now closed and NFPRHA's block at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown is now full.

Guidelines for travel and lodging assistance are below. Read the full travel policy.

To be eligible, meeting participants must request travel assistance when they complete the meeting registration form. 

• NFPRHA welcomes organizations to send multiple staff to its meetings and conference. However, NFPRHA will provide travel and lodging assistance for a maximum of two people per organization per meeting/conference.
  
  
• NFPRHA’s block at the Omni Austin Hotel Downtown is now full. We apologize for the inconvenience. An overflow hotel block has been arranged within walking distance (0.3 miles away) at the Hampton Inn & Suites Austin-Downtown for the group rate of $165 per night. If you have been approved for travel assistance and still need a room, please make a reservation online or call (512) 472-1500 and ask for the NFPRHA block by Friday, December 18. 
  
  
• NFPRHA will pay for flights, train travel, rental car, or mileage reimbursement and hotel only.
  
  
• Travel assistance recipients are responsible for working with NFPRHA's travel agent to make their own travel arrangements. Travel that costs more than $500 must be approved by NFPRHA. Travel and lodging assistance recipients no longer need to turn in boarding passes after the meeting.
  
  
• Travel and lodging recipients who fail to attend the meeting/conference, will be responsible for reimbursing NFPRHA for the full cost of plane or train ticket and hotel and rental care reservations, including cancelation fees, no-show penalties, or early check out fees. Travel and lodging recipients will also be responsible for the costs in any reservation changes they request. NFPRHA will not be responsible for cancellation or reissue fees.
