The OCs OTC Working Group, the coalition behind the campaign, has engaged in a partnership with a pharmaceutical company to submit an OTC application to the FDA for a progestin-only pill. Yet the courts are undergoing a massive shift in judicial ideology that is likely to have serious repercussions in the years, and perhaps decades, to come, particularly for family planning. This session will explore some of the key family planning-related cases currently pending at the federal level, how things have changed—and continue to change—in the courts, and what this might mean for the future.
