NFPRHA’s FQHC Affinity Group last met in early March to discuss the unique challenges and opportunities related to family planning service provision – both through the Title X program and other funding streams – in federally qualified health center (FQHC) and look-alike settings. With the challenges that have emerged in the months since, coupled with the enduring needs faced by FQHC-based family planning programs, the need to connect, share, and learn feels greater than ever. Register now to join NFPRHA's convening of the FQHC Affinity Group for a virtual meeting on June 17 at 2:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 a.m. PT. During the meeting, members will have a video conference-based forum to share experiences about how their family planning programs and health care organizations have responded to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as voice their needs and explore how NFPRHA can best support them during these unprecedented times.
NFPRHA FQHC Affinity Group meetings are intended to serve as forums where members can discuss family planning service provision in FQHC and look-alike settings. All NFPRHA members who work in FQHC and look-alike settings, as well as at primary care associations (PCA), are invited to participate in these closed meetings. Pre-registration is required.
If you have any questions or recommendations for agenda topics, please reach out to Elizabeth Jones, ejones@nfprha.org, Director of Service Delivery Improvement, or one of the group’s co-chairs, Brenda Burnett, Brenda1@wypca.org, and Judith Emmons, fergusonj@congreso.net.
