For this month’s membership call, we will be joined by Mara Gandal-Powers, Director of Birth Control Access and Senior Counsel for the National Women’s Law Center. Mara will provide an update on Trump v. Pennsylvania, the latest round of litigation on the contraceptive coverage requirement of the Affordable Care Act. Trump v. Pennsylvania was heard by the Supreme Court through telephonic oral arguments on May 6, and a decision is expected sometime in June. NFPRHA submitted an amicus brief in support of Pennsylvania’s case, and Robin Summers, NFPRHA’s Vice-President, Health Care Strategy & Analysis and Senior Counsel, will join the call to discuss NFPRHA’s position.
