Best Practices in Serving LGBTQ+ Family Planning Patients
Back by popular demand, NFPRHA will introduce new resources to help family planning providers improve access to high-quality care for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ+) patients. Join us to hear from Hannah Spector, NFPRHA’s Service Delivery Improvement Manager, about ways to build a LGBTQ-inclusive practice.
Research demonstrates that LGBTQ+ patients often face significant barriers to care. Family planning providers have the opportunity to play a unique role in breaking down these barriers and improving health equity by implementing key operational and clinical best practices. This webinar will highlight best practices for providing high-quality care to LGBTQ+ patients in an affirming, inclusive environment. It also will review strategies that participants can utilize to identify strengths and gaps in their agencies’ current practices, with the goal of improving the quality of care delivered to and patient experience of this priority population.
This webinar has been rescheduled from June 26th.
