Integrating Sexual & Reproductive Health into Primary Care 
Learn strategies for successfully integrating high-quality sexual and reproductive health services and primary care in this half-day training provided by the California Family Health Council. Participants will discover how to apply current evidence-based national guidelines related to sexual and reproductive health and primary care. Participants will also learn to effectively assess a patient’s sexual and reproductive health history and needs, and to provide patient-centered contraceptive counseling.This training requires a registration fee of $125 and includes lunch and a training manual. Space is limited.

Strategies for sustainable growth including assessing readiness for change in payer mix and making operational changes based on patient experience data will be presented. Lunch will be served.

Medicaid Expansion: Pushing Back On the “Race to the Bottom”
As states pursue alternative paths to expand Medicaid under the Affordable Care Act (ACA), some have implemented onerous Medicaid changes with potentially far-reaching consequences for all states. This session will explore those changes and what some of your peers have done to push back on the new “race to the bottom.” Breakfast will be served.

Contraceptive Coverage: From Hobby Lobby to Medical Management
Although the ACA requires insurance coverage of all FDA-approved methods, regulations implementing the requirement have led to uncertainty about what is and is not covered. The Supreme Court’s Hobby Lobby decision only added to this uncertainty. This session will provide an overview of the state of play regarding contraceptive coverage, including problem-solving tips and an extended Q&A opportunity.
