Travel Assistance
The application to request travel assistance is now closed.
NFPRHA has grant funding to help pay for travel and accommodations for participants attending the January Regional Meeting. Guidelines for travel assistance are below. Read the full travel policy before requesting travel assistance.
- To be eligible for travel assistance, meeting participants must apply when they complete the meeting registration form. The travel assistance application consists of three short questions.
- Following the meeting, travel assistance recipients will also be required to answer three short questions regarding the impact of attending the meeting. Reimbursement of travel expenses including cab fare and airport parking will be contingent on completing the post-meeting questionnaire.
- The deadline to apply for travel assistance was December 17, 2014. Recipients of travel assistance will receive a travel assistance approval email from NFPRHA staff within a week of submitting their application.
- Meeting participants are responsible for booking their own room at the Westin Tampa Harbour Island. To reserve a room, call 888-627-8158 and use the code: NFPRHA. You must reserve your room by December 17. Registrants are responsible for canceling their room if they become unable to attend the meeting.
- Travel assistance recipients are responsible for working with NFPRHA's travel agent to make their own travel arrangements. Travel that costs more than $500 must be approved by NFPRHA.
- For the January Regional Meeting, NFPRHA will pay for up to 2 nights of hotel stay for members attending content on both January 12 and 13. NFPRHA will pay for 1 night hotel stay for members attending 1 day of content, either January 12 or 13. Non-members are eligible for 1 night of lodging assistance through participation at the January 13 Medicaid Peer-to-Peer meeting. NFPRHA may pay for up to 3 nights of hotel for special travel circumstances; this requires prior approval.
