INTERN, EXECUTIVE OFFICE
Supervisor: Director, Executive Office
Status: Non-Exempt, Intern - Paid
SUMMARY
Support the work of the Executive Office and assist the President & CEO and Director of the Executive Office with day-to-day and long-term items.
REQUIRED TIME COMMITMENT
The Executive Office Intern will work part-time (22.5 hours per week) during the fall of 2018 (August through December). This internship may be extended to the spring 2019 semester.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Facilitate scheduling for President & CEO.
- Perform research to support strategic initiatives, and other topics as needed.
- Manage finance/administrative tasks, including expense reimbursements and credit card reconciliations.
- Book travel reservations and assist with preparing for trips.
- Assist with ongoing organizational history project.
- Create PowerPoint presentations and other products, using approved outlines/talking points.
- Support the preparation and assembly of Board packets, and other materials for Board committees and/or task forces.
- Remain flexible to support President & CEO and Director of the Executive Office with other tasks that may arise over time.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Proven experience supporting organization leadership required.
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree or recently graduated in a related field (non-profit management, public health, public policy, women and gender studies).
