December Regional Meeting
December 2 to 4, 2012 - Loews New Orleans Hotel
With the expansion of insurance coverage to millions of Americans little more than a year away, family planning providers need to prepare now to meet the increased need for services. NFPRHA’s December regional meeting is designed to provide the tools and advice family planning administrators need to help their health centers survive and thrive in the changing health care economy.
Building on the success of NFPRHA’s September regional meeting in Omaha, the December meeting agenda contains a full day of content from NFPRHA’s ACA implementation project, Life After 40: The Family Planning Network and the ACA. Topics covered will include: billing and collections, health insurance enrollment, innovative practices at publicly operated centers, and tools for building partnerships. Additionally, NFPRHA’s policy staff will provide post-election analysis as well as a full day of Medicaid Peer-to-Peer content focused on the impending expansion and coordination with health insurance exchanges. There’s no cost to register and NFPRHA has grant funding to help pay for travel and accommodation for those who register by October 26, 2012. Learn more about travel assistance.
