October 2014 Regional Meeting

October 5-7, 2014 – Indianapolis, IN

NFPRHA’s October Regional Meeting will provide a valuable mix of lessons from the field, advice from experts, hands-on skills training, and peer-to-peer conversation to support the sustainability of family planning health centers and systems. The meeting will take place October 5 - 7 at the Hilton Indianapolis Hotel & Suites in Indianapolis, Indiana. Registration is now closed.

General sessions on October 6 and 7 will contain a range of content including successful practices for building and maintaining relationships with third-party payers, the impact of in-health center enrollment activities on payer mix, and state policies to improve Medicaid coverage for family planning. The preliminary agenda includes additional opportunities for training and technical assistance on a range of topics:

Integrating Sexual & Reproductive Health into Primary Care Training
Learn strategies for successfully integrating high-quality sexual and reproductive health services and primary care in this half-day training provided by the California Family Health Council. Participants will discover how to apply current evidence-based national guidelines related to sexual and reproductive health and primary care. This training requires a registration fee of $125 and includes lunch and a training manual. Registration is now closed.

Medicaid & Revenue Cycle Management Office Hours
Sign up for one-on-one meetings to get individualized assistance from experts on all things Medicaid and revenue cycle management. Bring examples of your problem areas and spend time walking through potential solutions with our experts. Office hours sign up will be available at the meeting registration desk.

Discover the Circle City
Make the most of your time in Indianapolis by visiting one of the many local attractions near the meeting. The Indianapolis Hilton is located centrally among many attractions. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway, home to the Indy 500, is only four miles away. Sports fans can check out annual Circle City Classic collegiate football on Saturday, October 4 and Colts home-game on Sunday, October 5. Enjoy many other Indianapolis highlights like the Museum of Art, Repertory Theatre, State Museum, and the symphony. All participants will receive a list of restaurants recommended by NFPRHA members in the Indianapolis area.
